I have to applaud (or applaudire if my google translator does not lie) the Italian deputy Prime Minister Matteo
Salvini for his actions when giving a speech at a rally in February at the Italian
coastal town of Giulianova. Matteo’s most
notably achievement is stopping the migrant boat landing on the Italian coasts.
During his speech after arriving on stage to the classic music of Nessun Dorma strutting
like a star he addressed the crowd explaining he stopped the migrants landing
as the needy in Italy must be put first and foremost. Predictably a (lefty)
shouted from the crowd “shitty murder” of course referring to migrants drowning
whilst attempting crossing the Mediterranean to Italy.
Now from experience of seeing how politicians react to such
an outburst on the telly we would expect the old response from Matteo…a grovelling
excuse and attempted justification attempting to play to both sides …..but
no!!!
This is the part I love….his response!! He coolly stopped talking, took a pause, turned
toward where the outburst came from and in a levelled tone of voice he said “‘a
precious contribution from the gentleman who says I am a shitty murderer. A
round of applause for the gentleman, he has won ten immigrants for his home” then Matteo pretended to sign a form in his hand whilst asking very
pleasantly if his “friend” would provide his name and fiscal code number
(similar to a national insurance number in the UK) then he would receive his
prize of the 10 migrants to be delivered to his door, then .. ‘who he can look after for breakfast, lunch
and supper for’
Matteo then went on to address the crowd. This is the problem
with the left, he explained, they always expect other people to pay the bills
they run up. This is so true and for a man is such a high political position to
acknowledge this publicly and with such an action putting a heckling “progressive
lefty SJW” on the spot was simply brilliant and that’s why I applaud this!!
We, in Scotland as with most European nations can remember our
leading political figures (in Scotland’s case unfortunately Nicola Sturgeon with
her counterparts) standing holding a placard proudly announcing “Refugees
Welcomed” yet not one of these hypocrites has taken into their homes a refugee,
either a real one (who is fleeing persecution and followed the correct protocol
by going to the first save haven of a country and asking for asylum there and
attending a refugee centre or camp then being passed to a Euro country as per
the quota fulfilment with the rules set out) or a “illegal” refugee coming in
on a raft or lorry, or even an economic migrant which most are, (but attempt to
pass themselves off as fearing for their lives)
The same can be said of the vast, and I say that word again….vast
(some few admittedly with good intentions) public crowds holding these same “Refuges
Welcome” Banners…were they willing to house them in their homes and pay for
clothes and food? Or did they expect
others to pay? (if you were one of these protestors with the placards then
please leave your address in my comments section and I will forward it to the
refugee centre for you to win your prize….opps wait, sorry, you cant, I have my
comments on this blog disabled as due to my criticism of a certain “peaceful” religion
(mostly followed by the crowd you wish to import wholesale) I get such threats
and abuse pointed towards me!!!
