Disney lacking Diversity

Last year (2018) 2 Hollywood actresses have come out to explain why they will not permit their daughters to watch a number of classic Disney animated films. Kristen Bell (I had to google to know who she is) pointed out that Snow White is kissed non-consensually by a necrophilic prince who sexually assaults what he thought was a corpse (kinda like a fairy tale jimmy Savile) Keira Knightly (I know this name and like her movies) took issue with "Cinderella" and "The Little Mermaid," complaining that both stories reinforce the sexist "damsel in distress" theme.

Now I would applaud any parent for protecting their children from highly-objectionable material (Far right literature, Labour party manifestos and the SNP White paper) but I fear that this view about problematic cartoons is a wee bit crazy!!

But on further research I have found some other Disney films that may give futurepsychological problems for the children of Generation Snowflake whose mummies will perhaps consider it child abuse to plonk their children in front of the big screen to see the following movies (when instead they could be discussing with their kids about binary genders or where to place a Che Guevara poster in their bedroom instead of Katie Perry or perhaps how they should welcome the next wave of misogynistic economic “refugees” from an Islamic state or even discuss the evils of Israel against these peace loving Palestinians and the democratic HAMMAS)
These following Disney films should be burnt alongside the ones mentioned by Bell and Knightly. Indeed, in fact it could even be said that it is actual child abuse to let your son or daughter watch any of the following:

1) "Pocahontas"
I cannot for the life of me understand why "Pocahontas" hasn't been banned and all of the people involved in its production sent to prison camps. "Pocahontas" features extremely harmful and retrograde Native American stereotypes and a deeply troubling White Savior storyline. The character Pocahontas is not only sexualized and objectified but reduced to an outdated caricature of an Indian woman who sings about the wind and talks to trees. This is not historically accurate, despite what they may teach in schools. Instead of letting your child watch "Pocahontas," why not cut to the chase and just enlist him or her in the Nazi Party? It will have the same result either way.
2) "Aladdin"
They even enacted this racist filth in theatre form in Glasgow near Christmas every year...I saw it a couple years back to my everlasting shame!!  (sorry, not "Christmas" I meant "Fun December time" as we must rebrand such festive holidays as not to offend)  Where to begin? Shall we discuss the Middle Eastern stereotypes, the eroticized female character, or the Arabic boy who looks and sounds suspiciously white? Its Euro-colonialist propaganda that utterly trivialized and finally erased the lived experience of actual Arabs,"….any child can see this!! And of course this is all to say nothing of the Genie, a coloured person who is caged in a lamp and forced to serve Aladdin as a literal slave. Euro-colonialist, indeed. This movie has a terrible effect of the multicultural integration forced ...sorry I mean.. agreed upon and cherished by the British people.

3) "Pinocchio"
"Pinocchio" is a transphobic river of bigoted filth gushing down a mountain of sexism and racism. Notice how Pinocchio spends the whole film pining to become "a real boy." A more progressive and enlightened movie would send Pinocchio out on a quest to become a polyamorous lesbian or an androgynous genderqueer asexual. Instead, Pinocchio is assigned his gender by his deranged puppet master and he never once questions it or even considers whether the very idea of "real boyhood" might in fact be a primitive philosophical artifact of a backward and binary age. The film skips that question entirely. I dont know how the rest of the world would consider this porno filth suitable for children but here in the republic of Scotland under the rule of Commandant Sturgeon we just won't tolerate it!!

4) "The Lion King"
I feel soiled knowing I once took my son to the Cinema in Falkirk to see this racist propagander!! We may as well have been "Necklacing" some African-Scotsmen as they came out from under the lorries at Dover!!  Set in Africa yet almost all of the characters are voiced by white actors. One of the only black characters in the whole film is Mufasa, and guess what happens to him? He's trampled to death by wildebeests in one of the most racist moments in Hollywood history. Notice that the wildebeests are also black, which is a not-so-subtle reference to the bigoted "black on black crime" motif. A child watching this would end up feeling that he was at a Klan rally in Alabama in the 1930's. Oh, but there is one other wee prominent black actor in the film. Whoopie Goldberg voices a hyena who acts a servant to Scar, played by a white British actor. My hands shake with rage even as I type these words. The movie should be rated X for xenophobic...pure right-wing promoted hate inspiring!!!

Perhaps the only acceptable and even halfway progressive Disney movie is "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." The straight white male is a hideous, deformed virgin beast rightly exiled from polite society. This, indeed, is how all white men ought to be portrayed. If only we could all be locked in a bell tower and forgotten. Then perhaps the rest of us could finally live in peace.

"Toy Story" is problematic because the boy only has gender-typical toys."Winnie the Pooh" is out because of its harmful portrayal of overweight people. "The Jungle Book" are notoriously racist. "Lady and the Tramp" makes light of sexual assault when the male dog non-consensually kisses the female dog as they share a plate of spaghetti. "Tarzan" features a man who thinks he's a monkey, which is clearly meant to mock and trivialize body dysmorphia..... which only our Scottish Government is allowed to do with it new laws it is introducing whereas a primary school aged child can say he is a girl or she is a boy or that he/she is of no gender and this will be accepted blindly without the requirement of any counselling or meeting with a psychologist and they can even keep it a secret from the kids parents…but, let’s not get too heavy here …after all, this is a blog post about Disney.

We also really need more action movies such as Braveheart where that Aussie Actor reenacts his Lethal Weapon role but this time incorporating diversity by wearing a skirt and painting his skin blue in the attempt not to insult any ethnic groups. Our Scottish government promote this historically accurate diversity movie and the supporters of Scottish independence seek inspiration and political aspirations from watching this movie on a loop. Now we even have the equally diversity movie called "Outlaw King" about Robert the Bruce played by Captain Kirk from Star Trek. For those who dont know Scottish history this proves their is no boarders in the world as an English aristocrat can become a Scottish King and in this movies case, he is of course played by an American (Captain James T Kirk) so take inspiration from this that wherever you may be from, whichever Islamic state... you can always become a King here, change the constitution (Sweden is a good example of this) and fashion your adoptive country of choice into a fun loving equal rights Caliphate or what other Disney dream world you may have in mind.
