Now I will start by saying I am not a big fan of Trump but I much prefer Republicans over the Democrats in the states and if Hilary Clinton won then things would certainly be in a much worst state IMHO (Democrats are a bunch of Saul Alinsky following subtle "socialist") but Trump
bashing seems to be the fashion these days, not only by our liberal friends
across the Atlantic but also by many here in the UK who now have taken a great
interest in American politics which exceeds merely watching “The West Wing” on
the telly or “Jack Ryan” online.
Fair enough,
it’s good to see people’s passion finally right up about such important things
but I am a bit surprised and intrigued over their logic.
The majority
of the protesters, whether it be on social media, the work place, pubs, news,
talk shows or holding placards (and sometimes milkshakes) in streets always
seem to have a commonality across this side of the pond, they all appears to
have plenty free time, very left minded, loudly vocal and ear, nose or other piercings
visible (and suspecting undercover too).
Many I would consider Labour supporters, Scottish nationalists, Pro-Palestine
/ anti-Israel, refugee coming (if not in our houses and paid by someone else),
Giro receiving, Blue Nun drinking self-proclaimed “anti-fascists” and others
who believe themselves defenders of freedom and liberty.
They are
outspoken again auld Donald because they claim him to be a far-right, Muslim-hating,
migrant hating , misogynistic, country bombing, bad-hair day every-day crass
tangoed man…BUT…. Where was this mob of freedom defenders when President Obama
came to visit? The ones that did take to the streets would have been a
welcoming crowd waving their wee plastic flags bought on E-bay for the occasion
or hoping to be seen with their “audacity of hope” paperbacks in hand and wee badges whilst in
Starbucks smug that a democratic black American president came to power. “oh Michelle
looks so beautiful”, “Obama will not change the world for the better” …etc
..etc ……but was Obama a better President that Trump?

When Obama was in charge the Border Patrol agents used tear gas an average of
1.3 times every month to ward off the Mexicans. Obama deported millions of
migrants. Including Haitians trying to escape their earthquake-devastated
country. The message from the Obama administration was “‘Turn around or go
elsewhere”

2017, Trump’s so-called ‘Muslim ban’ was that he wanted to restrict the rights
of people in seven Muslim-majority countries to travel to the US until security
was tightened. Yet it was Obama who first targeted those countries, in 2015,
with a bill that made it a great deal harder for people from Iraq, Syria and
Iran in particular to visit the US. The Bill Obama created was described by the
American Civil Liberties Union as an act of ‘blanket discrimination based on
nationality and national origin without a rational basis”!!! Ehhh……where were
these protesters then???
As for
bombing countries the Obama administration bombed seven countries. Iraq, Syria,
Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia. In 2016 alone it dropped
26,171 bombs. That’s 72 bombs a day. Three every hour!! For every 20 minutes
for an entire year the Obama administration dropped a bomb on a Muslim-majority
country!!! So who was the worst threat
to world peace with this fact selectively forgotten? Bomber Obama or Trump who
has held peace talks so far with Russia and North Korea.
So what is
the real reason there is much more hatred shown toward Trump than Obama? Obama is a well-dressed man or a certain
colour who is always well grooms, stands tall with his beautiful wife and children,
talks beautifully with well prepared and rehearsed speeches whereas Trump is
fat, bad-hair, boorish and often garbles his sentences or mispronounces words. Is that what is really loathed about Trump
when comparing him to the handsome sleek and seemingly sophisticated smooth
talking Denzel Washington like Obama?
Compared
with Obama’s record in office Trump is an angel yet Obama appears to be loved
and Trump is the devil reincarnate!!
For me this sums up the ignorance of these
people. A Virtue-Signalling addicted group who ill research the cause they wish
to scream like harpies about!! Where was
this circus of clowns when Obama was giving his backing for extremist regimes
(Saudi regime or the Sisi in Egypt)? I
never saw these nutters when President Xi Jinping visited or that Saudi Prince.
Somewhat
ironic these protestors were protesting last week against an American
democratically elected president Trump who is visiting the uk to commemorate the
allied forces of the d-day landing and Monte Cassino where my dad also fought
with British Eighth Army alongside the American 5th Army which was the turning
point in winning a war against real “Nazi scum” but these time rich “tolerant
liberals” seem to conveniently ignore facts.
The very capitalism
these clowns claim to despise (yes that same capitalism which keeps them from
dying young with no teeth in their own shit in a house without and facilities
or sanitation) has successfully feed them through advertising and Netflix that
Obama is some kind of saviour and hero but Trump is a Far-Right white-trash talking
dimwit and a threat to morality and decency.
Just because
Trump upsets some people sometimes doesn’t mean he is wrong. I believe Trump’s
tactics have had more strategy and direction than people give him credit for.
His on-off trade war with China and Canada and Mexico, his end goal is more
free trade on fairer terms for the country he has been democratically elected
to represent…should be hate him for this? For the UK he is our largest and most
powerful ally and if BREXIT does, as it seems it will, go ahead then we will
need him more than ever!!!
